ScanMount Buy

Built for warehouse fleets

Stop replacing dropped scan guns.

ScanMount is a rugged 3D-printed bracket that zip-ties to any forklift cage. Your handheld stays put, screen angled toward the driver — so they read the next bin location without taking their hands off the controls.

Ships from the USA. Modular system — swappable inserts fit most handheld pistol-grip scan guns.

Zebra MC9300 scanner mounted in a ScanMount bracket
$1,000+

Replacement cost of a typical warehouse handheld scanner. Set on the dash, wedged in the cage, balanced on a rail — one bump and it's gone.

30 seconds

Time to install ScanMount with two zip ties. No drilling, no permanent modification to the forklift.

Zero

Scanners dropped after install. The bracket cradles the gun and angles the screen so drivers never need to pick it up between scans.

The actual difference

Screen faces the driver. Always.

Most "forklift scanner holders" are repurposed pistol holsters or generic cup mounts. The scanner stays put — but the screen faces the sky, the floor, or the wall behind the driver. Drivers still grab the scanner constantly just to read what's coming next.

ScanMount's cradle is angled by design. Mount it wherever fits the driver best — somewhere readable but out of their forward view. A quick glance shows what's next; pull the scanner out to scan when they arrive.

Designed for the cage

The slotted plate accepts standard zip ties in two axes — vertical for primary mount, horizontal cross-mount holes at the base for added rigidity on uneven cage geometry.

Slotted mounting plate fits any cage spacing — vertical zip ties anchor the bracket cleanly from any angle.

Mount your way

Three anchor points for any cage geometry.

1
MOLLE-style plate

Slotted back plate accepts heavy-duty zip ties — the primary anchor on the vertical cage face.

2
Cross-brace holes

Bottom and lower-rear holes let you run a second zip tie through a cage upright for two-axis stability.

3
Side anchors

Holes on the side faces give you an optional third anchor for high-vibration or off-road environments.

One mount, multiple scanners

The mount platform is universal. Swappable printed inserts let a single bracket support a mixed fleet — no need to buy a different mount for each scanner model.

Fit guideline: most pistol-grip handheld scan guns fit when the grip measures at least 3½″ (89 mm) from trigger to base. Not sure? Send us a photo and we'll confirm.

FAQ

What material is it printed in?
Industrial-grade ASA — the same weather-resistant polymer used in outdoor automotive trim, equipment enclosures, and heavy-duty signage. Fatigue-tolerant under continuous forklift vibration, UV-stable so it won't grow brittle under skylights, heat-tolerant in hot warehouses and cold storage alike, and resistant to water, oils, and common warehouse cleaning fluids.
How does it install?
The MOLLE-style back plate accepts heavy-duty zip ties through the slotted face — that handles the primary mount. Additional holes on the bottom, lower rear, and sides give you cross-bracing options for irregular cage geometry. No drilling, no glue, no permanent modification. Most installs take just a few minutes.
Does it fit my scanner?
Today: Zebra MC9300, MC9400, and MC2090. The base mount is universal — for other models we design a swappable insert. Email us a photo of your scanner and we'll confirm fit (or quote a custom insert, typically under a week).
How fast does it ship?
Orders of 5 or less usually ship within 2 business days via USPS. Larger orders are print-to-order and ship within approximately 1 week.
What's your return policy?
30-day fit guarantee. If the mount doesn't hold your scanner properly, return it for a refund or a remake.
Bulk / dealer pricing?
For orders over 50 units, email hello@scanmount.com for a quote.

Put one on the forklift that eats scanners for breakfast.

The math is simple: one prevented drop pays for a case of mounts.
